This is great. Thanks very much for all your help – absolutely excellent service. Best regards,*Note: pyd helped with Customs clearance and VAT on importation as well as completing the delivery to a very tight deadline.
Dear PhilFunds to settle the final bill should now be in your account. Throughout our trip, having witnessed first hand the care, attention and professionalism applied by James, we would have no hesitation in recommending him and your support. Moreover, we already have future plans for which we intend to call upon your services again. From 2 very happy and satisfied customers
“Dear Phil I would like to thank you and your staff for assisting with getting our Sunsail charter boats delivered from France to many of our Mediterranean bases that are located in Greece, Turkey and Croatia. Your company and crews gave us outstanding service during this project and I was extremely happy with the feedback that our base managers gave to me when your crews handed over the boats to them. All of our boats were reported to be in excellent condition upon their arrival at the bases. The constant updates that I received during all of the deliveries that you provided for us was greatly appreciated. I look forward to working with you and your staff on upcoming projects. Please thank your staff and crew on TUI Marine's behalf for a job well done. Yours faithfully JRLogistics Controller”*pyd note: This the tenth year running we have worked on new boat deliveries for the World's largest charter operation

“What a great team! Your skipper was a real gentleman. I can say no more. Thank you!”pyd note: This delivery was crewed up at short notice to help the owner get home after he had been much delayed whilst making the passage with his own crew.sistership picture
Yes – not the weather you'd expect for such a passage, but the new owner seems very happy with the boat so she's obviously in good shape. I'm sure the crew spent time straightening her up, so many thanks for an excellent service!
Extract from client accceptance letter:”Very impressed with the yacht’s handover and the level of helpfulness of the crew. Many thanks. Would like pyd to deliver our next two.”
Excellent and very helpful, professional, skipper and crew.
Once more, I would like to thank you and your crew for your professionalism in a wide spectrum of talents.I will have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending PYD to any of my friends for deliveries
Many thanks for the delivery of our boat. Very happy with the condition we found her in. Met the crew. Please thank them for a very good job well done. Kind Regards,
I have directly transferred funds to your bank account in settlement of your invoice. Your skipper was thoroughly professional in his approach and made very good calls on weather and routeing. He was most helpful in introducing me to the boat, and my friend and I gained a lot from the trip in your crew’s company I'd recommend PYD to anyone. Many thanks.
Hi Phil, Sent you funds electronically. Please confirm when received. Good job – well done. Thanks**pyd note: Originally built as ANNA OF THE SEA, later as XARGO III, she competed in the Whitbread Round the World Race 1981-2 and placed 6th. Other Swan 65's had competed in two earlier Whitbread Races with great success, including winning the first race and a second place in the second race. In more recent years the Swan 65 has become renowned as a fast and most comfortable cruising yacht. They are equally suitable for private, family use or for charter. Yet, they may still be raced with great enjoyment and some success, particularly at such events as The Nioulargue, Antigua Race Week and the Swan Regattas. This is the second time pyd have delivered this beautiful boat.
Dear Sirs I write to thank you for your excellent service and to express my delight as to the conduct and skills of your skipper. He was very thorough, his manner was always easy and confident nothing phased him despite a variety of heavy weather. He patiently taught us how to set the boat and electronics up, leaving me with the confidence to open up the boundaries of my cruising grounds in the future. I would recommend PYD to anyone. Please pass my thanks on to the skipper at your earliest convenience.sincerely
An excellent pyd team – totally competent and good company – thank you.* pyd note: this was an assisted delivery. pyd provided a skipper and Mate to help an owner and his wife with their new boat.
Philip CoatesworthProfessional Yacht Deliveries LTDWitherslack GrangeOversandsCumbria, LA11 6RQDear Philip,It is now two weeks since PYD handed ‘Betty’ to me at Gosport, but only now I fully understand how well done the delivery was carried out. January is not a month yachtsmen choose to cross the North Sea. When I arrived in Sweden, for the handover by Lars Olsson at the Malö yard in Kungsviken, ‘Betty’, a Malö 37C, was iced in the harbour and the decks too were covered in ice.A couple of days after I got home, PYD arrived at Kungsviken and started their routine of checking the boat in fine detail, buying provisions and items for a safe passage. During this time, although the ice was melting, the winds were picking up.Naturally I was anxiously listening to and watching every weather and shipping forecast. A series of deep depressions started to track from the Atlantic across England heading for Sweden. Sometimes there was “storm force later” together with “rough becoming extremely rough” in the forecast, but PYD always managed to plan and time inpidual legs to duck out of the worst of it and take full advantage of the lulls. They sailed night and day except when stopping off for the first engine service, and in Langaroo, Holland, when as you neatly put it in one of your daily up-dates to me, the crew were getting into ‘sync’ with the weather! In fact they managed that to a superb degree, never sailing in more than Force 7 winds but completing the voyage in 8 days averaging 5½ knots. ‘Betty showed no signs of wear and tear, or even having been occupied. She was cleaner than when I had last seen her! The only telltale sign of the conditions she had been coaxed through was a small patch of chafe on the foresail furling line. Finally, Brendan the skipper spent more than an hour talking about the boats performance indicating items that needed attention, which has meant they have been remedied straight away rather than later.I am tremendously grateful for a job very well done. I wholeheartedly recommend PYD to anyone who needs his or her yacht safely delivered. Thank you Philip to you and the entire team!Yours sincerely,
Yes the weather was not co-operative on the way back. I have thoroughly enjoyed the relationship. You run a great ship!Best wishes for the holiday season.
Just to say thanks for organising the delivery yesterday. The skipper was super – My husband, who hates sailing, went round with them and had a lovely time! I'm probably going to have her delivered to Plymouth at the end of March 09. Also, possibly, a delivery with just me aboard as owner, you provide skipper and other appropriate crew, from Plymouth to La Rochelle, end June/beginning July 09. Please could you give me quotes? Or is it too early?Regards, Anne*pyd note: feedback is from a regular customer, whose successive boats we have been delivering since 1999Sister ship photograph
