I wish to stress how professionally Chris Petch and his crew have steered our old lady “JAH” (1980) through the prevalent north winds and lumpy seas of the Portuguese coast reaching Bilbao (900 miles away) in just five days of sailing. Only brilliant professionals, backed by a very good team ashore, can achieve something like that.
I was very impressed too by the pre-voyage survey carried out noting even the minor details as well as the thorough hand over report, and the pristine condition the boat was re-delivered.
Being a retired master mariner and naval architect, that has spent the whole life in shipping, I really know quite well what I am talking about.
