Just a quick note to say thank you and well done. Your team have delivered our new 53' Amel yacht, Island Pearl II, half way across the world from the Canary Islands through to Sydney Australia in great shape. Today I did the handover with your skipper and crew and am absolutely delighted with the way in which these guys have cared for the boat, from rigging to sails to electrical systems, servicing the main engine and onan generator through to leaving the interior in absolutely spotless condition right down to sparkling tripple cleaned oven and fridges. As incredible as this may seem, I truly believe that the boat is now in better condition than when I bought it in Europe 12,000 sea miles ago. Congratulations on providing such a fine skipper, first mate and crew who together with your UK head office have done an incredible job. Well done!!

“I just wanted to say thank you very much to yourself, your team and to the crew who helped to deliver Oomu 13,500 miles from Croatia to Fremantle safely and quickly. We have constantly been impressed with PYD service from the prompt answering of queries to the totally smooth and trouble free delivery of our boat.
She arrived ahead of schedule and in superb condition, looking as good as new after a southern ocean voyage. We reckon that she arrived with less fuss than if we had put her on a container ship! The dedication of the guys onboard was amazing and we really appreciated the work that went into cleaning the boat up to present to us in such good condition. The minor problems (and not so minor ones) that always occur in a trip as long as this one were dealt with efficiently and without major budget blowouts. Throughout the entire trip communications were maintained extremely well and we always had a good idea of progress. We cannot thank you enough for just about everything really! Just returned from a long w/e on the boat, your crew left her in v. good condition, please pass on our thanks for a job well done. Although we were initially very concerned at allowing anyone else to sail our boat we were very happy with your performance and would certainly now recommend your service.

As you know we arrived in Ardrossan at noon yesterday. It was a fairly rough and uncomfortable passage and we spent a pleasant afternoon recovering in warm sunshine. I would like to thank you and everyone at PYD and especially Paul and his crew who were wonderful. Paul is a very impressive man who managed every aspect of the trip extremely well. I am not surprised that he is a teacher and I do hope he is able to develop a fulfilling career. Ian Aitken is exactly the sort of reliable man that every sensible skipper would want as first mate and Tom is a good lad. They all put up with me very well. Paul took time to prepare the boat including purchasing and installing the UK charts for the chartplotter and though I offered to reimburse him he preferred to to add the cost to the list of expenses which I expect you will send me.I feel that I was hardly able to sufficiently express my gratitude to Paul yesterday and so I hope you will pass on my thanks.
