My apologies for not having been in touch sooner – it's been very hectic here over the last week.'Bob' seems in good shape – Bill and the crew did a fantastic job, I hope they arrived safely back home.I'll arrange payment of the invoice straight away.regards*pyd note: 'Bob of Ramsgate’ arrived safely after a 7500 mile passage completed in 81 days. Najad 490 arrives in St. Maarten from Sweden

It is very difficult to imagine a more professional and dedicated crew –simply fantastic! Thank you all for everything!Najad 490 owner St. Maartenpyd note: This boat had undergone major repairs at the yard and in spite of a tight schedule a skippered delivery by sea compared favourably with ship transportation in getting her to the client’s home port, with minimum fuss. Crewed delivery also enabled sea trials to be carried out en route.

Oyster 66 arrives in Antigua

Once again, I was extremely pleased with your service. Your crew were all terrific people who did an outstanding job. It was a pleasure to watch them work and to get to know them. I will be pleased to highly recommend your company to any one who asks so please use me as a reference. For our future travels and voyages we will stay in touch. We will probably have some situational needs that PYD can help us with and we do plan to end up in the Med. Thanks again for your professional service. All the best.'photo of sister ship

Beneteau Oceanis 46 from Majorca to Brunei – 7500 nautical miles!

I have been thoroughly impressed with the high standards and professionalism exhibited by your crew.

Beneteau Oceanis 50 arrives in Fiji after 12695 nm passage from Croatia

“Thank you for your efforts with this delivery; you are to be commended. Your skipper has clearly done his utmost to deliver on time, and in top condition. I am most impressed, and would not hesitate to recommend pyd to others, or call upon you for further deliveries.Best regards to all”** pyd note: The economics and flexibility of a crewed rather than ship borne delivery really paid pidends on this trip.

Hallberg-Rassy 43 back from the Caribbean

“Thank you for bringing our boat home safely – you’ve done everything very carefully and we’re very grateful.”* pyd note the client originally took his boat to the Caribbean by ship, but decided that an ‘own bottom’ delivery, with the flexibility of timing and start/finish points as well as the considerable cost savings involved made more sense for the return.

Oyster 625, Ipswich to Miami

'Edwin and I are about to depart for the ghetto and wanted to say thank you very much for everything. We have a great Captain and Crew in Bryan, Nigel, Alex and Angus. They are a real team working together with hardly a word between them when the going got rough and great to be around when things are more relaxed. We can't praise them enough. And thank you for all you help in coordinating this great trip for Bandido'

Jeanneau 54 arrives in Jeddah

Just wanted to let you know that the boat has been cleared finally and as from today we can start enjoying it (which we will do). Understand from your recently received newsletter that pyd is also moving on and I hope you keep going and improving continuously as you have been doing over the years as I was very pleased with the way you serviced me in the project of Habibity. From initiation, to planning, to start, during passage and arrival I think it all went very well. I particularly enjoyed the possibility of being able to join for the last stretch. I learned a lot in many aspects and everything went so smooth as if it was a very ordinary exercise: my compliments to you all.

Not sure what future will bring but I will be very happy to connect with you again if the need arises and wish all of you lots of success.

My best regards,

Beneteau 46, Hong Kong to Abu Dhabi

Bill, Mark,

I'd just like to say a “BIG” thank you to the team and this crew. Every aspect of the delivery has been handled with the utmost professionalism – Emocean was looked after at every stage and, as your advert says – “arrived in better shape than she left”.

Sincerely, my thanks, the guys are a great bunch – we had fun together in Hong Kong and Abu Dhabi – I'm sorry I couldn't give the time to enjoy any of the “legs” but also glad I missed the coasting past India.

Thank you both very much for the daily updates. You guys run an amazing operation and should be proud of yourselves.

Thank you again.

Hylas 44, Bermuda to Falmouth

Thanks for delivering Halcyon back safely – It was great to think she was in good hands after the initial fiasco with the other delivery company in Bermuda. I'm a bit jealous of the 200nm days.

Amel Super Maramu 53, Canaries to Sydney, Australia

Dear, Mark and Team

Just a quick note to say thank you and well done. Your team have delivered our new 53' Amel yacht, Island Pearl II, half way across the world from the Canary Islands through to Sydney, Australia in great shape. Today I did the handover with your skipper and crew and am absolutely delighted with the way in which these guys have cared for the boat, from rigging to sails to electrical systems, servicing the main engine and Onan generator through to leaving the interior in absolutely spotless condition right down to sparkling tripple cleaned oven and fridges. As incredible as this may seem, I truly believe that the boat is now in better condition than when I bought it in Europe 12,000 sea miles ago. Congratulations on providing such a fine Skipper, first mate and crew who together with your UK head office have done an incredible job. Well done!!

Kind regards,
